Dr. Elisa Katz, DVM:

Dr. Katz is originally from CT.  She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2000.  Dr. Katz enjoys practicing veterinary medicine and strives to find the best and most up to date options for treatment for her patients. In 2008 she became certified by IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) in Veterinary Acupuncture.  She believes that preventive medicine is the best kind of medicine (i.e. preventing a disease before it happens whenever possible).  She also believes that taking an integrative (Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine) approach will yield better results than either approach alone.  Dr. Katz lives in Wallingford with her 3 dogs (Sasha, Poco, and Jake) and one kitten (Catalina).  When not practicing veterinary medicine Dr. Katz is an avid runner and enjoys tending to her Dahlia garden.
